Political Profilers Don't Want to Guess

November 4, 2002

My friends, I watched all the Sunday shows, and I felt like I was watching the sniper shows all over again. All these pundits were out there, as political profilers instead of criminal profilers, telling us what's going to happen. The difference is that this time they basically threw up their hands and said, "We don't know."

They don't know. They have no clue. Some of them took pained guesses and you could tell that they were struggling to make their guess. Of course, because of loyalty, many of them sided with Democrats, but they weren't confident for the Democrats. I don't know if we can read anything into this or not.

Normally, if they're confident for the Democrats, we can assume that they have some internal, behind-the-curtain numbers that indicate the Democrats are going to do pretty well, but the fact that they're not confident about the Democrats' chances tells me that they really don't know.

The fact of the matter is, nobody knows. These polls have gone back and forth and they're so tight that nobody can really tell what is going to happen for sure on Tuesday - we'll just have to wait and see.

Unfortunately, tight races are the most vulnerable to 'Rat fraud. :-(

Yes, but they Rats already have their extra votes (fraud) factored in and they are still nervous. I am hopeful.

I seldom disagree with Rush. However it very well could be that they have private Demo polls that suggest that they are behind. Without polls they would be running blind. Poll driven Dems just don't do that anymore. In other words they know but it is not astute to reveal their info.
