I'm in PA. Straight Republican for me. I have a question for those who have voted. When I walked in, the older gentleman handed me the Republican leaflet and said, "here, you may want this", or something like that. How did he know I was a Republican? Is it because I showered? I didn't have holes in my clothes? How could he tell?

Also voted straight Repub ticket here in Berks County, PA.
But I was disenfranchised - they only let me vote once.

I am really hoping you did not walk in and get handed anything. It is against the law to be within so many feet of a poll building and politic. :>)

When you registered to vote, you may have designated yourself as a Republican. That's how they know.
