Hey guy. The turnout is nothing spectacular here in suburban Kansas City. It is probaly heavier than normal for a non-presidential election, but no long lines.

I've only voted at this precinct for five years so its not like my last polling place where I could measure all turnouts by the Reagan era lines.

Lots of signs at the property lines outside the polls, but only two outside campaigners -- kind of suprisingly low.

IDs are uniformly required if someone doesn't have their voters registration card. Each voting station full, but the line was from two to five deep as it doesn't take us very long to fill out the paper ballot and enter it in the optical scanner box. Lord save us from computer voting changes which seem to be the bane of problem areas -- predicted it would be the wrong solution to a contrived problem.

Looked like light turnout in NJ, but I was super early. They don't require ID or voter card or anything. Just say your name, sign in the book, and vote.
