The author was interviewed on KSFO on Oct. 31 (http://www.ksfo.com/viewentry.asp?ID=238329&PT=Program%20Summaries). He is a Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He did mention Carter's requests for help from the Kremlin to defeat Reagan, but he didn't mention Mondale. I was a bit disappointed when the hosts didn't ask him about Mondale.
