Two new polls put the Republicans up 6 and 7 points, respectively, in the generic. Shouldn't such a massive shift in the generic translate into Republican victories in close Senate races?

Guess Zogby is trying to create an explanation ahead of time for this sudden groundswell of Democratic (ie: dead, illegal, and/or double-dipping) voters whose votes will miraculously find their way into the system.
