I need more than three hours with George Will.

I'd rather watch the paint dry or the grass grow. Sorry, but Will bores me.

This was a great way to spend three hours on a Sunday afternoon. A lot less stressful than watching the Bears. I love George. He makes me proud I'm a Republican. I never knew his eldest son had down syndrome.

Does cspan provide a link to a transcript or an archived copy of this?
I caught a little bit of it on Sunday and right at the time he was explaining the difference between "feel good" liberalism and "truth" conservatism, for some reason cspan cut away to something else.
Or maybe someone who remembers that part can re-explain it. Thanks.

If only it were "This Week with George Will" I'd watch it again. Until then, Stephy ain't getting any ratings from me.

One caller remarked as to how "This Week..." had become pretty much a disaster (can't remember the exact word he used, but that was the sense of it) - Will of course denied this and even stood up for Steffy, saying he saw no problem in his having at one time been a political operative and partisan and now a journalist - sometimes one can be too much a gentleman.....

...the difference between "feel good" liberalism and "truth" conservatism...I remember the discussion but couldn't do justice in trying to recall and summarize it - don't know of any archival or transcript linkages, but C-Span does sometimes sell tapes of their shows, and periodically they repeat these First-Sunday afternoon specials throughout the year. C-Span.Org might have the info you need.....
