That Name Please, Michiganders, correct me if I'm wrong, but is there not a FUNERAL HOME in the Grand Rapids area run by a family with this name? Is the candidate related?

Yep. At least there was when I lived there as a kid until 1961. Think it's still there, too.

Posthumus is a fairly common Dutch name from what I've heard. Dick Posthumus is from Kent County near Grand Rapids, so it wouldn't surprise me.
