I wonder if that's the same chick who interviewed me...I saw the AP's Erica Werner at OLVERA STREET, but I would like to think that it was NOT Erica who interviewed you.
She is at least SOMETIMES neutral...Erica is a brunette, short - kind of an "East Coast intellectual" type, seen here - I think - in this FLATTERING (!) picture of OUR guy at the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce speech:
Not sure that I know Alexa, but I **think** that she is the redhead in the CENTER of this picture, looking at her tape recorderDo you recognize either of them?
I'm hoping to have the video done by tomorrow morning - anyone who wants to add the pictures to the thread body is, of course, welcome to do so.
I would like to comment on that news article: Everyone I saw at the freep was extremely enthusiastic about electing Bill Simon. Sometimes, I'm not sure if the news actually attends the same events we do :-(. They would have had to go a long way at this event to find such a sour apple.
Enjoy, everyone!

At the FireFighters' event, the speeches were dull, drab and completely passion-free. Not here.
At the FireFighters' event, people applauded the speakers tepidly. The only time you got any kind of fight in them at all was when they mentioned our protest!
At our event, the applause, enthusiasm and cheering were awesome! Thanks to the freepers and others who made it happen!

Thanks, David! An initial set of photos is at my page on the freep. (Right now there's nothing but photos there).

Here are a FEW images of our "small" and "half-hearted" [NOT!!!] rally today at OLVERA STREET:I cannot WAIT for the video!!!
Wow!! This LAST one is now my new screensaver!
You were at the San Diego GOP rally, too? I only saw Jimbaugh up on the camera stage, and didn't see any other Freepers there. There were just too many people there. I hope you used sunscreen and didn't get sunburned. I forgot, and my right arm was red after the rally. The many hundreds of people there were very enthusiastic.
In the afternoon, I took my homemade "Fire Davis" and "Dump Dioxin Davis [with Blinky, the 3-eyed fish cartoon drawing]" signs to Camino del Rio South, in front of the Scottish Rite Center (where the Simon/Giuliani rally took place October 13th), for the benefit of the Davis supporters arriving for his rally and for the people leaving the computer show.
Very few people were there to protest against Davis, and none were Freepers. Besides me, there were
I got many thumbs up and supportive words from people leaving the computer show. A very small fraction of Davis supporters gave 1-fingered salutes to the man with the "Dump Davis" stickers, but they just pretended to ignore my signs. They have enough manners not to offend a lady, but they're just a little misguided in their politics. Some arriving people even smiled and agreed with my dioxin sign; maybe they just wanted to catch a last glimpse of the soon-to-be-Ex Governor before he is committed to an insane asylum.
I saw two white limousines and one black limousine, all with black privacy windows. They went around to the back of the Center, and so did the chartered buses. It figures Davis wouldn't enter through the front door -- just like the Clintons. If Davis was in one of them, he was about 90 minutes late.
There were between 700 and 800 enthusiastic supporters at the one in San Diego this morning! Is there a post-FReep thread about San Diego this morning?
If not, can one of you POST a report? And, Jimbaugh, would you please post some PICTURES? Or at least, some of your VIDEO?
I've just put up 3 signs strategically placed to catch all the parents racing up and down our street on the way dropping off and picking up their kids from a Christian elementary school. As we say around here, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!Tuesday Morning, the refuse carts will be brought forward for a full assault on all traffic in and out of this combat sector ... urrr... neighborhood.

The trash was picked up at 7:30 AM, in my neighborhood. And, for rest of the day, my beautiful blue trash can shall sit at the curb! I figure that at least a hundred cars will have to see that bright red "DUMP DAVIS" bumper sticker before sun down. The can and the sticker, they just seem to go together.
Anyone else out there have a bumper sticker story/suggestion?

Just saw the coverage on KTTV Channel 11 in Los Angeles. They showed Davis campaigning in a church, attempting to clap his hands in time to a gospel choir...LOL! It's called "guerrilla FReeping!"And then they showed us! 100 times the energy of the Davis snooze-a-thon, and the DUMP DAVIS stickers on people's backs showed up very nicely. Great idea, RonDog!
I learned THAT idea from a MASTER promoter, who was also at our rally today, and was PERSONALLY recognized - from the stage - by our next Governor:See also, from:"EVERYBODY needs a Joe Kung!"
