So what effect does this have on the race??

Zero. But if we're lucky he'll get more votes than McCall, which will both humiliate the RATS and force them into the third slot on the ballot next election.

The saddest part is that McCall has been a decent human being. He refused to attend the Million Man March and said that Farrakhan was a divisive person. He was refused to vote for price controls on drug companies. He figured out that throwing more money at schools does not represent better education. He refused to vote for stricter environmental rules on corporations as demanded by the left. All in all, the man has been truer to his party's principles than Pataki has been to his. But then Pataki had to deal with things as they are and not as he wished them to be. I can forgive him almost everything but the fact that he went to Vieques and demanded the Navy stop training there.

Pataki will win big........and he will never ever be a veep candidate!
