Yep, I heard this too and I tend to believe it. McGreevy really has done nothing but screw up since he got in. Is is going to be revealed that the loser who was such a bad appointment to head the state troopers (or whatever it was) and who has just resigned was his lover too? At least that's a reason to hook somebody up.
If (we can only hope) McGreevy does resign, who becomes Gov?

As long as McGreezy delivers the cash to the unions he will not be forced to resign. The sweetheart deal for the arena in Newark was part of the deal for republican support.
Much as clinton doled out taxpayer dollars by the millions, McG is doing the same and there will be no complaints from the recipients.
Taxpayers be damned!

If McGreevy does resign, who becomes Gov? The Senate President. Then it really gets interesting because NJ has Senate "Co-presidents" because the Senate is split 50/50 at 20/20.
