The psychiatric field seems to believe they are Gods. I think they stretch their abilitiy to declare what "normal" is. Most Psychs are leftist and their world view is humanist. We don't need the APA telling us what is moral.
Yes it is interesting to see them declare terrorism as a sickness or mental malady but many in this field see christianity as a great threat to society. There is a growing movement within the psych community that believes social workers should be empowered to overrule parental values.
