Good afternoon Canteeners,Troops, Vets, Allies, Volunteers....just quickly dropping by to say hello and share this song below (one of my favorites - I choke up every time I hear this) that was made popular by a Filipino Artist, Basil Valdez. What I don't know is if this is an original Filipino composition or not. But it doesn't matter since what matters is the message of the song. I'll post the lyrics and hopefully will be able to post the link so you can listen to it. One link has the vocals but you need windows media and the other has only the melody but no vocals. The melody plays right away as you open the link. One of these days, I will learn to do what Mojo2001 does with these songs.
