Lautenberg: things a draft may be necessary. We are stretched thin and have to look someplace to bolster troop requirements.
To: jwalsh07
Excellent point. I remember when Bill Clinton considered some ridiculously low amount to be "rich." Had a bumper sticker that said "Honk if Bill thinks you're Rich." I got lots of honks on that one.

Cheez.... Lout accusing Forrester of only becoming a hawk after he was safely above draftable age. What a jerk!

Issue: Isreal
Forrester: when we are sure it would not be a staging ground against Isreal, then a palestinean state may be appropriate. It is not in interest of our ally to subject them to constant attacts. There needs to be confidence that Isreal won't be attacked.
Lautenberg: has to be a peaceful resolution. Thinks Isreal is doing the right thing defending her people.
Lautenberg: the palestinians should have their own government but should be under the UN.
Ouch, Forrester mentions when Pali kissed Lautenberg. Lautenberg calls Forrester a liar. Lautenberg says it was just a gesture.

He said that the stress that the DemocRATs are putting him under insures that he wouldn't last more than six months in office, if elected. It doesn't matter. Forrester is toast. Governor Mcgreevey will just appoint another dem should that happen.

I'm laughing my a** off. Lautenberg is a stammering old has-been. He can't keep a cohiesive thought in his head if his life depended on it. THIS IS TURNING OUT TO BE A ROUT! Go Forester, Go.

Lautenberg embraced Arafat, he was wrong.
Lautenberg voted to defang the American intelligence community, he was wrong.
Lautenberg voted against turning back Iraq in 91, he was so wrong that that vote alone should disqualify him from holding elected office.
Unfortunately, Forresters excellent points will be lost in state that voted for Gore by 20 points more than President Bush.

Go Forrester. Rout the Laut! (And call Howard) ITA on both counts go Doug, and call Howard.

Lautenberg: accusing Forrester of profiteering.
Forrester: referencing Torricelli/Lautenberg machines. This is a bogus issue. Forrester receives business when his company offers lowest prices. That is what business is. He has disclosed as the law requires.
To: Unknown Freeper
Forrester: Tom Kean is his campaign manager. Forrester has an independent voice. Spoke up for people to defend them.
Lautenberg: Defines himself as a progressive democrat.
To: Unknown Freeper
Lautenberg is losing badly, LOL!
This is the best thing I've seen in ages. :)

Lautenberg: Defines himself as a progressive democrat. Should have asked him exactly what is a progressive democrat. I would like to hear the answer.
Maybe progressing toward socialism?

Forrester thanks Lautenberg for showing up for debate.
Forrester voters will come to polls to make choices. Move toward failed choices of past or move toward good choices for the future. NJ wants lower taxes. NJ is last. Need to stop being last.
Lautenberg: rambling. Referencing Clinton presidency and surpluses. says we took care of our defense needs. He is reading from notes. BSing. Says we should go back to polices that took care of our people.

Lousyberg has beginning Alzheimers. He said that the stress that the DemocRATs are putting him under insures that he wouldn't last more than six months in office, if elected. I think this is the Democrat's plan all along...get someone with an impairment elected, then replace him with a handpicked candidate when the position is vacated for medical reasons....The man can't put two sentences together except for his tried and true slogans. I pity anyone with Alzheimer's, even lousy old liberals...but I thoroughly resent having him foisted on the voters and all this dishonest maneuvering by the Democrats.

The Louse has gone south mentally as the debate has gone on, He wasn't too ditzy the first 15 minutes by the 40 minute mark, the Louse couldn't put 2 sentences without rambling on and on.
When asked what the best thing you could say about your opponent, the Losuse made a smarmy comment about Forrester being good at changing his mind, Forrester was gracious and said he admired anyone who made their way through life and how the Louse had built a business.
The Louse came off as petty compared to Forrester, imagine Carville/Begala and Bush being asked to say something nice about the other (guess who behaved with the grace of Carville/Begala).
Good job by Forrester I hope enough people watched.

Lautenberg is quite rude. Keeps on interrupting. That was the main impression I came away from the last debate with. I thought this guy is losing his grip on reality and he's dealing with it by being mean, nasty and rude to anyone in his way. He seems like a truly awful person.

. Lautenburg keeps bringing up column where Forrester said he didn't mind if his neighbor used a semiautomatic. I HATE that commercial. Like his neighbor is using in the school yard, or on the beach. I could care less if my neighbor wants to shoot a semiautomatic...as long as he does it at the range. And, he brings me along. :-)

If you think Lousenberg is senile, take a look at Mondale.....the man is completely out of touch. Both of these men act as if they just woke up from a twenty year nap.
