The Orlando Sentinel’s liberal Mike Thomas is now an independent voter, as disclosed in his Nov 1st column HERE:

I direct my No. 2 pencil toward the broken arrow next to Jeb Bush's name on the absentee ballot.

My hand begins to shake violently, drops the pencil and leaps off the page to choke me, a la Dr. Strangelove.

It's very traumatic voting for a Republican governor for the first time.

I go both ways now, one of those swinger voters who chooses based on individual qualifications....

This is a remarkable vote for Gov Jeb Bush, considering how many times in the the past Mike Thomas has criticized the current FL gov (although a few recent columns have defended Gov Bush).

And, it is a huge loss for the Dem candidate, McMumble, as McMumble recently spent 90 (ninety) minutes face-to-face with Mike Thomas, trying to win said writer’s vote.

Tough luck, McMumble!

Also, good for you, Mike Thomas, for doing what’s best for FL!

Maybe we should email Mike Thomas and assure him he did the right thing by voting for JEB!!

I cannot believe how bad its been for mcbride. His political carrer is over before it ever begun.

I read an article once about him that said he was shaving one day, and looked in the bathroom mirror, and announced to his wife he had decided to run for governor. It seems to me his plans as a FL gov candidate did not go much beyond finishing his shave that day.

I just dropped him a note. He'll find this easier to do in the future. It's called awakening politically.

But he certainly has something BAD against the GOP candidate for attorney general. I wonder what that's all about.
