Take your kids out of these slums called public schools!

I temp. The black people I worked with in my last company are professional people (I don't want to sound condenscending, but they are. I guess it has to do with the culture of the company). They are very involved in their children's education. However, I noticed that the majority don't send their children to public schools (lots of candy and cookie sales at work). They generally send their children to private or parochial schools and they have very high expectations for their children (good colleges).

I don't think the people I worked with in my last job would put up with children who misbehave and waste time as this teacher says his students do. These kids aren't in an educational venue that permits this.

Perhaps it has something to do with forking over tuition money rather than relying on "free" public education.
