WRONG! They intentionally did not declare a democracy, rightfully recognizing that it would lead to anarchy. They did declare a Democratic Republic form of government.

BZZT. They specifically stated in those documents that the government be guaranteed to have a Republican form, where the people vote by majority to elect those who will make the decisions. There's a difference.
