[Long Cut]

Hi, Duchess! Mrs. Cut is quite happy...she gets to keep both her career AND our house near the beach, which we both love. Naval Station Mayport is only a few miles away, so my commute will actually SHORTEN. Both considerations played a large part in my seeking those orders.

I'd have loved to stay in ORIONs and in a flying billet, but Mrs. Cut's happiness and her career deserve all the consideration I can give them, within the confines of my duty. Besides, it could be fun!

Well, that's cool then! You're probably not used to rain, rain, and more rain...and then more rain after that, so the Pacific Northwest might have driven you two a little nuts anyway, in the wintertime at least. And you've gotta love a shorter commute!
