Ok, not to change the subject too much, but, what do you think of Ehrlich's photo ops with Mandel today in every paper in Maryland? This makes me very nervous that he is asking for Mandel's advise. We are so very close to a victory and I only hope that this move does not sway any voter.

Frankly, I don't know what to make of it. Perhaps Ehrlich is just looking for some more DemocRAT votes and Jewish votes, and will ignore anything that Mandel comes up with.

On the other hand, I remember how glad I was when Spiro Agnew was elected governor and then he got together with Senator Harry Hughes and came up with the Hughes/Agnew "tax reform", which gave us the piggy-back local income tax.

My only consolation is that I'm in the county with the lowest piggy-back tax in the state, thanks to a lot of suckers, er ah , tourists, who come to Ocean City.
