GAS ATTACK AT THEME PARK
Three people have been injured after a type of incapacitating gas was released at an amusement park.
Police were called to the Chessington World of Adventures park in Surrey.
Ambulance workers said three people had inhaled an unidentified gas and were suffering some discomfort.
"We think it could possibly be CS gas but are awaiting confirmation," said a spokeswoman.
Incapacitant
The injured were being treated at the scene but their condition was not life-threatening.
She said the gas was believed to have been set off by someone waiting in a queue for one of the rides.
No arrests have been made.
CS gas is a powerful incapacitating gas used in warfare and riot control.
Vomiting
The sufferer experiences a burning sensation in the eyes, nausea, vomiting and difficulty in breathing.
No details were available on the ages of the victims.

Haven't seen this yet. Not enough for breaking news?
I pray it is a harmless incapacitant.

This kind of crap always happens overseas because they don't have any way to defend themselves over there.
Don't let them outlaw guns here!!!!!!

CS gas?
Where's Reno?

Not possible. Poison gas was outlawed at the same time the handgun ban made England so safe...

I'm hoping it's just a stupid "prank" - there seems no real motive for why this happened.

Pepper gas? More or less, commonly called "tear gas". A common riot control gas around the world. Military uses it as a simulator instead in place of nastier stuff during Chem war training.

I agree with your sentiment but I'm not sure how you'd defend against someone dropping a gas grenade. Time you realize they've done it, the cat's out of the bag so to speak.
