AnuScouts founder Dwayne 'Assmaster' Diddle believes that many of the things the Boy Scouts are doing are "ruining my joy." He said he created to the AnuScouts to "fill the void left by prejudicial treatment of other established children's programs, and to fill.. er... other things as well"

Diddle, who serves as the Vulture-In-Chief and Miss Thang of the Washington Chickenhawks Social Club, said his main argument with the BSA is that the group has refused to recognize boy-f--king as an acceptable form of intercourse, but at the same time, the BSA acknowledges that men and boys can form relationships.

He said the Scouts rejected an Anal Sex badge that was designed and submitted by Abner Fabulous, a well-known local interior decorator and children's advocate.

In 1999, Diddle created the AnuScouts as the Washington Chickenhawks' "answer" to the Boy Scouts and other youth organizations that subscribe only to "traditional" forms of sexual morality. Today, the AnuScouts welcomes boys of all ages (four and up, but no older than 19) and backgrounds, including Wiccans, pagans, atheists and homosexuals. All boys must be "hairless and/or shaved" to apply, according to official AnuScouts documents, and "runaways, the homeless, and undocumented foreign boys with no English language skills or access to legal counsel are especially welcomed."

Davis said practicing pedophila is not a mandatory activity for the 50 AnuScout units currently operating across the U.S., Canada and Switzerland, but that "we have our ways of 'talking them into it'. Beyond fostering a respect for rectal sex, it is up to each AnuScout unit leader to decide where and when they will teach boys the pleasures and pain of man-boy love. Deep-woods campouts are held in remote forested areas beyond cellular phone range every two weeks to foster these "intergenerational encounter sessions". The vast majority of the AnuScout units are operated by gay/bi/les/trans/questioning support groups, he said.

"When we started the program, we designed it in a fashion that it's oriented towards spending a lot of time alone in the woods with fresh-faced, milk-fleshed innocent young schoolboys, but so is Boy Scouting, whether they realize it or not," Diddle said. Unlike the "pervasive" use of Christianity contained within the BSA, the AnuScouts recognize no religious teachings except those of the infamous British occultist and self-proclaimed "Beat 666", Alistair Crowley. "'Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law'", quoted Diddle, "In other words, 'If it feels good, do it.'"

AnuScouts describes itself as a work in progress. It says it offers children the opportunity to develop deep, penetrating interpersonal and life skills with strapping, hairy-chested men with thick manly mustaches and leather pants, in addition to learning "the usual handicrafts of leatherwork, knot-tying, and the care, feeding, and proper use of hamsters, gerbils, and other small rodents." Diddle indicated that watersports would also be encouraged among Scouts and Chickenhawk leaders.
