The idea of "liberal values" is peculiar to me. The only thing they apparently value is power.

Liberals in the U.S. like to call themselves "progressives" now as liberal is a dirty word here.
They are basically socialists who are anti-American, anti-religion, anti-business, and want to have the United Nations run the country. But that can't happen till they confiscate our guns, so they are also for gun registration and eventual confiscation.

"What a complete, total, absolute sham." And so predictable.

Pulled from the Minnesota Star Tribune "post talk forum"
It turns out the 9 point Mondull lead we saw is a push poll,in other words it is biased, misleading and the race is
probly a dead heat among likely voters .....surprise..they ran the poll MONDAY!!!! during the no campaigning period.
HYPOCRITES!
Push Polling for Mondale
John Gall - 10:55pm Oct 29, 2002 CST
On Monday evening 10/28/2002 I received a call from Sun Surveys 305-728-1966 asking if I'd have time for a survey. Interested I said yes. I was then bombarded by many variations of a potential Mondale campaign commercial and one or two that might be Coleman commercials. They asked which commercials would I agree or disagree with etc. After about 10 questions regarding my opinion of Mondale's character, status and history I was repeatedly asked whom I might vote for in the Senate race. This same question was repeated in between other pro-Mondale slanted questions. Several negative Coleman ads were added and my opinion was asked after each of those. Finally at the end of the interview I was asked. "After all you've heard what most likley will cause you to vote for Walter Mondale?" Duh what about the other candidates? The poll basically was a commercial for Mondale and provided me with no opportunity to choose another candidate. I explained that nothing in the poll would make me vote for Mondale as there are other choices in candidates, I asked about entering another candidate and was told I could skip the question. Yea thanks.
I just about flipped out. I then read in the Star Tribune 10/29/2002 that they interviewed 639 voters Monday to come out with their favorable Mondale result. Hmmm I wonder if they use Sun Surveys for their polling?

The American "liberal" leadership and operatives of the Democratic Party are self-indulging, arrogant conivers. They are the most despicable type of American political animal because they feed on the fear of the uninformed American electorate. Thus, their prime modus operendi is to frighten people who are too gullible or too lazy to think for themselves. That is why they portray themselves as the "champions" of the poor and uneducated - what a con job!!
The biggest threat to the existence of a democratic America based on European ancestory are the Democratic party leadership and operatives - yet, the American people naively continue to vote for that despicable party. Death Wish?
Thus, I am not surprised that the Democratic Party leadership and operatives turned the Memorial into a Circus Hystericus. What else could one expect from these folks?

Bill Clinton and Al Gore were greeted with vast cheers...95 senators condemned Clinton for pardoning terrorists for his wife to get votes just a few years ago. And he's still their hero. They take terrorism so seriously.

One FReeper described this event as, Tacky is as tacky does. It really stuck in my mind.

Probably a lot of politicians are self-indulging, arrogant connivers, but I just don't remember when there were so few Democrats left on the field that one could respect.
Like Sam Nunn.
And so few of them have seen that the fall of communism has by inference impugned the viability of socialism. These systems just don't work as well as regulated capitalism to provide material wealth to most people while still leaving them a spiritual belief system to sustain them and their children in times of trial and challenge and a military and militia which which they can defend themselves against irrational enemies.
Socialism is a loser. Jobs come from small businesses and socialism chokes off all incentive to start small businesses.

I just about flipped out. I responded to a push poll once by a Democrat opponent of Gray Davis in his run in the gubernatorial primary four years ago. The primary was open and the opponent was trolling for Republicans who would vote against Davis.
I just kept saying I thought Dan Lundgren was the best candidate and didn't bite when they tried to get me to invade the Dem primary.
They had some interesting dirt on Davis. Wish I'd taken notes.

I know little of Mr. Wellstone, but from reading comments on here, and from hearing what President Bush had to say about him, it appears that (even though a Democrat) he was an honourable politician.
However, when I saw a picture of his son politicising at events surrounding his wake, I thought it screamed of bad taste.
And I wondered what his father, if an honourable man, would have felt about it.
I lost my mother not so long ago. I would feel shamed at the mere thought of sullying her memory by some cheap stunt.

Darling, they showed a few clips from that "memorial" on BBC News this morning. I believe it was hijacked by Mr. Wellstone's sons - one of whom was pumping his fist in the air, chanting, "WE WILL WIN! WE WILL WIN!". What, no tears for his father? No sorrowful mourning? No quiet reflection?
Our socialist enemies have no sense of respect, or decency, or honour.

Two words. NO CLASS. People with wealth often lack breeding. Worse, the Democrats in the audience were cheering. Class was shown by Jesse Ventura of all people, who said he found it repulsive.

"Like Sam Nunn."Or Scoop Jackson.

Party chiefs are hoping that Mr Wellstones passing will remind apathetic supporters of why they are Democrats. His death in an accident will remind them why they are Democrats?? Why, is this a plank in the campaign or something?
To: MadIvan
The article says the networks will give Bush converage to make up for the mistake they made giving free time to a democrat rally, after getting "dozens" of complaints....BULL FEATHERS!!!!! It was THOUSANDS of complaints.
