I have no idea why he (Lautenberg) agreed to this debate in the first place. The previous strategy of running out the clock seems like it had been working.

Now be objective... is Lautenberg *really* doing that horrible? I mean, would a Sucker Mom "independent" type think so?

I have burst out laughing at least 3 times, with the Laut's behavior-he cannot speak on the fly, he gets flustered, hands flailing, ad hominem attacks,hemming and hawing,keeps obsessing about Forresters "tax reports" ( I assume that he means tax returns).I don't speak Lautenese, so I am not sure exactly what he is talking about,half the time.It's very sad for an old man to be used this way by the Dems,but they use dead bodies for their craven purposes, so it shouldn't surprise anyone.

It doesn't matter what Lautenberg and Mondale do or so -- the problem for conservatives are the socialist-minded electorates in NJ and MN. These folk think government can solve any problem brought before it. And they will all die thinking this, no matter what evidence there is to the contrary.
