This my column for this week. An organization calling itself the Council for the National Interest, a leftist organization, and an Anti-Israel organization, came over to campus and presented a new documentary "showing" that there was a conspiracy between Lyndon Johnson and the Israeli government to make the USS Liberty incident look like an accident. My college's liberal agenda has gone too far.

I don't know about any conspiracy between LBJ and the Israeli gov't, but I have no doubt that the Israelis deliberately chose to attack the Liberty in an effort to cover their "land grab" of the Golan Heights from USA signals intelligence. I have listened to American sailors who survived this attack, and will take their word ANY DAY over any Israeli spin meisters.
