After all, we are hardly likely to discover laws that are incompatible with our own existence.
That's pretty much how I see it. If our existence were somehow demonstrated to be
inconsistent with the universe, then
that would be evidence of a miracle. Consistency seems natural, not miraculous. You can't have it both ways.
