I will never understand how good people can choose a failed human being like Kennedy over someone like Dave Rogers.

PBS had a film crew following Patches around when he first ran for this seat, and the explanation is in the film. All the old ladies who were asked why they supported him gave answers like "I always vote for the Kennedy's. They are all so handsome and charming." Some didn't even know which Kennedy he was or any of his positions, but this didn't seem to matter. It became a real circus late in the campaign when Teddy,Mrs.Schwartzenegger,John-John,and Caroline came to visit for the cameras.

I have the documentary; "Taking on the Kennedys"...and I still don't get it.

BTW. Dave is running a TV spot which shows Patches pushing down the AA female airport security guard at LAX...he was violating airport security before (9/11) made that , uh very unfashionable to do...and he walked? He walked!

I wish the people in RI would stop this madness. I wish there was a way to get thru to them that they are not electing "royalty" or competence but rather psuedo-elite, souless, scum.

What is Patches like un-medicated? What is he really like? Or does that not matter anymore? Does it not matter that a person in an altered state is making laws that govern an entire people?

Amazing, just amazingly sad.
