Ten-year-old unsubstantiated allegations from a convicted criminal looking to strike a deal? Nice. Real convincing. Purely coincidental timing, too. This will be sure to impress the voters.

Thanks for posting. The undecided voters will take Simon over the top. Dems won't bother getting out of bed to vote for Dufus. And too many voters are outraged at the corruption and sleeze. DUMP DAVIS

I hope so....the good people of California need some relief from his crap!!

The release of letters in the decade-old case could be a blow to the Democrat's re-election campaign against Republican challenger Bill Simon.I've always wondered. Do the type of people who would vote for someone like Davis care about this sort of thing?

Davis campaign spokesman Roger Salazar dismissed the Nathanson accusations. "In a last desperate attempt to salvage his campaign by making further reckless accusations against Davis, the Simon campaign has been pumping a story about ridiculous charges by a criminal seeking to reduce his prison term," Mr. Salazar said. Boy, they are desperate. Simon hasn't been pumping this story at all ... this story has been around for a decade before Simon even considered running for Governor, and Simon had nothing to do with the court releasing or not releasing the documents. To spin it like this ... how pathetic ... and the press doesn't even call him on it!
