Actually, no. I remember a lot of histerical ranting about how our troops (whom he claims to support and RESPECT) would be slaughtered by Saddam's forces.
I also remember a LOT of rabid namecalling of people allegedly ON HIS SIDE ("RINOs", "neocons", etc.) and endlessly repeated whines about how mean people were to him.
Oh, yeah, there was that issue of him BRAGGING of how much access to classified information he had, when he KNOWS that even bragging is frowned upon.
Mostly, I remember the whining. It was the most annoying. That about how you recall it?

This is the much vaunted Conservative Index list which I have been promoting. Which was discredited on this forum long ago, as you well remember. You lost that debate so badly it wasn't even funny. Remember your attempts to defend Voinovich as one of the most solidly conservative Senators? LOL.

And this is why I pray unceasingly for our country and the men and woman who serve to protect it. I have every confidence that our Commander in Chief will continue to seek God's council on how best to lead our nation. Enjoyed your thought provoking post . . . gotta go to a DbA meeting (ugh!). But in passing thank you for your service to our country and God bless you!
And may God bless you, my friend, for your kind words and for choosing to lend your voice in support of the American cause and the cause of right.

No actually, I remember myself and my fellow proud conservative Republican compatriots winning that debate so decisively that it sent you and your fellow mushy mods into a cowardly retreat. As for Voinovich. He is one of the top nine conservatives in the Senate and a damned fine patriot and that's a fact, jack.

He doesn't have access to classified info; if he did and was spouting about it, he could be sent up the river (unless he truly is an idiot and doesn't think so). Well.....maybe we have our answer...

LOL.

If sitting on our collective hands waiting to be "provoked" is the conservative position, then I'm no conservative. Count me in with you!

Hmmmmm...well, I remember rightwing2 calling an officer in the Coast Guard "commie lib anti-military never served and never will" (paraphasing there, but very close), flinging miscellaneous insults and epithets at other active duty military,
declaring that the proud father of a United States Marine wished his son dead, making mention of his supposed access to classified information to prop up his anti-Bush, anti-war rhetoric, calling someone (a Marine, I believe) "gay boy" or some such thing (didn't see that one myself - just heard about it)...and I could go on.
That's what I remember.
It made an impression on me, to say the least.

Does your employer at DoD know what you have been up to and how much you have bragged about access to classified information?
You and your calling us RINO's because we are not far right is a cheap shot! But worse is the following:
you wrote:
"Now, I think high casualties in Iraq resulting from their CBR attacks against our troops and a double-dip recession from Iraq and the Brazilian default will all combine to tip the scales and inaugerate a new nightmare for America with Algore as President."
I have no respect for anyone that comes on here and brags about having classified defense information and then posts how bad we are going to take casulaties by Sadaam! As a former DoD employee I find that beneath contempt!

Go get 'em, PhiKapMom. People have been dealing with this guy for a while now (not sure how much of it you've seen, but it has been, and remains, disgusting), and he needs to be pulled to the curb.
To: Long Cut
Pretty much the same as my recollections. That and him calling many fine current and former military men some HORRIBLE names.

Almost makes you wonder what they really want...That's the key. They're either hopelessly stupid, or on a mission.

Way to go!

I cannot imagine someone with classified access writing what he does! This is not the Clinton Administration and I am sure that Rumsfeld and Company would be appalled!

The New American scores are to the ACU scores, as Gun Owners of America is to the NRA. Dang right! THe NRA supports the enforcement of all the existing UnConstitutional arms infringements. We need to repeal the arms infringements, the free speech infringements. The entire election financing regulation infringes free speech. You have the right to free speech, including anonymous free speech. We need to teach our children, friends and others what freedom means in rights and responsibilities.

the election of a more or less permanent Democrat majority in both houses of Congress and will return the White House to Democrap control with Al Gore being George Bushs most likely successor. He's right about everything, except it will be Bubbette! replacing Bubba-2 in the White House. Bubba-2 is a one-termer.
To: PhiKapMom
You RINO! You NEO-CON! You squishy moderate. LOL

It won't be Bubbette nor AlGore.
I expect it won't be Gephardt, either (too Aryan in appearance). I expect a former military man with pacifist leanings to be their candidate. Shores up the base, while making hime difficult to attack on defense issues.
To: justshe
You forgot Bush Republican! LOL!!!!!!
To: PhiKapMom
If I'm not mistaken, he's been reported. Those who reported him were accused of trying to ruin his life (wife, kids, all that). There is apparently no such thing as personal responsibility for running your mouth on a public forum in his world.
Kind of like a Democrat.
