What if the Chinese had invented guns 1,000 years ago and not just used gunpowder for fireworks? What if, instead of dismantling their navy and merchant marines in the 1600s, the Chinese had colonized the Americas?
What if the library in Alexandria had never been destroyed?
What if the Moslems had been victorious at the Battle of Tours in 732 A.D. and had conquered the south of Gaul and all of Italy?
