Hey, Mike! We just drove through your neck of the woods last night on our way back from Ft. Lee! (Where, exactly are you again?)

It ended up being a BIG mistake to go through Maryland, though (instead of through W. Va and VA as we did on the way out).

The entire state of Maryland was one solid traffic jam! Do you know what was up last evening? Then in PA it was raining and foggy the whole way, so the mountain driving was awful! We didn't get home until 2:30 in the morning!!

We drove right by the rest stop where the snipers were caught. Praise the Lord that the killing has stopped!

Hello. Sharp eyes on the body language, Rintense. Fox has been in a snit since Mexican immigrant and trade issues went on the back burner after 9/11. I have never trusted him. He is a "my way, one way" kind of guy.

Yep. And Fox's administrations incredibly stupid stance that the Southwest US belongs to them doesn't help matter either. My fear is that Mexico will secretly stab us in the back. I agree with your body language observations, rintense. These two men.....if they indeed really ever were.....are no longer friends.

It is not a good idea to mess with our President. Fox is no longer trusted, and he will live to regret it, IMO.

Thnak you for our daily dose. I don't always post something, but I am thankful every time I get to see the "real" activities of Dubya.

You have nailed the pics of GW and Fox looking stiff. There is definitely an undercurrent of stress between the two. The bond of friendship is no longer there. Mr. Fox is living up to his name, he tried to be sly like a fox, only it doesn't work with Bush.

I missed Powell's remarks, but Fox has done nothing to secure his side of the border. He thinks TX, AZ, NM, and CA should be part of Mexico. Next he'll be asking for his share of Federal tax money from these states. I agree with W that the best solution to this problem is to help Mexico in job creation and education. They will continue to cross illegally if they have no chance of a decent life there.
