The Herald surprised me, I expected the others. Had they not endorsed him it would have been big news. I'm surprised the Times-Union hasn't endorsed him yet. Maybe they will tomorrow.

The New York Times just endorsed Pataki... Yawn. They also endorsed another liberal Republican Governor, Nelson Rockefeller, in the past as well.
I am more amazed that the Miami Herald has endorsed Jeb.

I checked DU, and I don't think they know yet.
They're too busy being mad at NPR for saying there were only 10,000 protestors in DC today. All the DUers are stamping their little feet and threatening boycotts.

The Wellstone crash was truly tragic. Although I took exception to most of his positions, he did seem to be a man who adhered to his convictions. Our prayers should be with all who were affected by this accident.
On the possibility of Governor Bush offering McBride/McAuliffe/McMumble (he'll have to change his name :)) a position in Florida, I would think it would be possible. He is obviously a capable man in some areas and the men in the Bush family don't seem to have a problem working with former adversaries.

If the Herald
didn't endorse Jeb, what credible reason could they give why Mclawyer would be better for the state?
When you have to make a rational decison about who the best man for the job is, there is only one answer.
Lets hope on election day the masses of irrational people, as well as their comrades the crooked lawyers, teachers unions, socialists, and other assorted pond scum who want to continue raping taxpaying real Americans unharassed are handed the defeat they deserve.

Even more incredible, the Fort Lauderdale based Sun-Sentinel
endorsed Jeb in the Sunday edition.
If you had to read this unbelievably biased newspaper everyday, like I do, you wouldn't believe it. . . but it's true.
McBride must be farther behind than the papers are admitting. On the front page the Sun-Sentinel had Bush up by 7% but claimed it was tight since there are 7% undecided.
