I don't know if Canseco's 75% figure is correct, but I'd bet the % of players juicing is at least 35%.

Then why don't 35% of the players have Bond's stats?

Because Bonds is the best hitter in the game, steroids or not.

I don't know about currently, and I don't know about marijuana, but it appears that Benito Santiago has done his share of foreign substances (by the looks of him).

Santiago was a party hound when he came up with San Diego. He lived hard and fast and now admits he squandered some of the incredible talents he was blessed with.

He still might be Hall of Fame material....

You're dreaming. Santiago doesn't have a chance in hell of making the HOF. Not in a million years. He not only will never be nominated, he'll never even be a remote consideration.

Damn! 4-1!

You're right about Santiago. Just re-checked his stats. I thought he had close to 300 homeruns and over 1000 career RBI's. Not close....

Did you just see that idiot Angel fan in the bleachers pound right fielder Sanders on the back with a couple of thundersticks while he tried to make the play? Hopefully she'll be ejected.

Here's what happened. Garrett Anderson hits a line drive into the right field corner with the bases loaded to clear the bases (as you already know), and Reggie Sanders bobbled the ball. As he attempted to pick it back up, some woman pounded him on the back TWICE with TWO thundersticks. It most likely had no bearing on the outcome of the play, but it was completely insane. I just heard that she's been ejected.

Lackey was great, and Donnelly was lucky .....two balls caught at the fence. I'd be very surprised if he pitches the eighth.

You a longtime Giants fan?
