"The moral fabric that supports the constitution has been dead for some time now." "And how did that happen?"

130+ years of Republicans and Democrats sharing 100% power over the government.

If 2 criminals hijack an airplane, do you let the more conservative one go free?

The socialist Clinton came into office, and what happened?? Newt Gingrich used the outrage of the people to reclaim the House. A major victory for the anti-socialists.
The only problem was that the socialist Republican party did not like that at all so they kicked the "revolutionaries" out.

Many of the issues in the contract with America became reality. Clinton's Marxist propaganda got Newt. Not the Republicans.

130+ years of Republicans and Democrats sharing 100% power over the government.

All the while, the liberal "deathstyle choices" continued to grow. All those who fell begged for mercy. The government came to their rescue for the "general welfare."
Liberals didn't. They were too busy creating their own hell.
Libertarians told them to go way and die. They weren't their responsiblitity.
The church was there, but both Liberals and libertarians did away with their aid, too.
If you really think about it, you can see where the liberal Libertarians, along with their friends on the left, brought this to us.
If you don't like it - deal with it. If you make your own bed, you sleep in it.

The Republicans said they wanted to end the Federal Department of Education, they got control of both houses and did not.

The Republicans say they are for smaller government. It has only grown faster under Republicans.

The Republicans say they are against socialism. They continue to increase socialized medical programs.

On and on so it goes. If the Republicans want to win they need to get their base back. I voted for Nixon for Pete’s sake!

Taxes, education, medical care, privatize social security. Any one of them would get me back. Until then I vote STRAIGHT LIBERTARIAN, or NOTA. I may even vote for a Democrat in the congressional race, because he is more conservative than the RINO Gingrey in Georgia’s 11th.

My only goal is to prevent Democrats from gaining office, if that means voting for a straight GOP ticket, so be it.

...Prostitutes, Aids, drugs,....They'll have to live in the sludge.

You mean those things don't exist now? How are Republicans getting rid of them?

Stop being socialist-light and maybe the socialist won't win at all. Is a size 9 1/2 d or a 10 EE shoe up your arse a better fit? Republican and Democrat. The only difference is how you spell it.

I really hve no intention of voting for Connie Morella ever again, she is to left of most of the people you mentioned and more unbelievable during the shoot 'em up we've had the last three weeks here she's been running ads with Sarah Brady endorsing her.

Palpatine Endorses Republican Party -- Official Press Statement

"My decision to support the Republicans in these last few days of the campaign comes as a result of my disdain for the Clinton Administration, of which Vice-President Gore will forever be connected. There is no civility, only politics. The Presidency is not what it once was. The White House is full of greedy, squabbling advisors. There is no interest in the common good..... "

"I understand my supporters in the Imperial Party may be a bit disappointed by this turn of events, but I would like to assure you all that everything that has transpired has done so according to my design, and everything is proceeding as I have foreseen......" :-)

Yes. We do have those things now. They're politically correct thanks to Liberal Libertarians and Democrats. If the left and it's supporters continue to praise them, it will only grow. Republicans do not endorse these things. Get rid of the Liberal Libertarians and Democrats, and the "tolerance" of these things will end them. Those who engage in them won't be considered L$L celebrities, but they'll become the outcasts they should be..

We are finished as a Nation if if the rats are allowed to eeck out a victory in the Senate or the house. 90% of them are Communist and want only for this country to go down.

My wife and I pray daily that the Pubbies win on Nov. 5th. We hav to get Trent Lott out of there, however.

Nixon doesn't represent the GOP base. I loathed him. What about his wage and price control initiatives appeal to the GOP base?
And he had plenty of time to actually try to win the war in Nam as opposed to just letting it fester. But he did nothing, until he was forced to make a sad retreat that looked far more like what a Dem would have done.

If you're a Nixon GOPer, vote Dem. That's a better fit. If you're a JFK Dem, vote GOP - that's a better fit. If you liked Reagan, vote GOP - he also made compromises, a fact which some young people either never knew, or choose not to acknowledge.

Not only are you principled, but an intellectual stalwart as well. Oaf.. Tell me, how much help did you need, including hits on your bong ,to come up with that clever turn of phrase? You are a waste of bandwidth. Enjoy your principles.

Yep Parot was a good example on a larger scale of what the LP party can dictate. 4 years of Clinton then and then the incumbant win the second 4 years. Parot has done very little for the so called cause since then.

It was George W. Bush, more than Ross Perot, who was responsible for Clinton's victory in 1992. It was Bob Dole, more than Ross Perot, who was responsible for Clinton's victory in 1996.

Once I knew that Bob Dole was the Republicans' nominee in 1996 I knew Clinton was going to win. If the Republicans hadn't staked so much political capital on that loser, I'm not sure his loss would have been a bad thing [the only reason Clinton was able to run roughshot during 1997-2000 was that the Republicans had lost their collective spine after backing loser Dole].
