Hmmm.... slip a hose in the roof, and pump in some clear gas, put them all to sleep, walk in, take hostages out, then leave and let the terrorists wake up and have them notice that all of the hostages are gone, then play a loud speaker, "We have removed your hostages, now - surrender or die".

I know... I know.... could take 'em prisoner at the same time, but why ruin 1/2 of the fun?

When is someone-besides Freepers-going to honestly acknowledge that the entire civilized world is at war with Muslim fundamentalists?? We have white Muslims storming the Russian theater, we have black Muslims sniping in the Beltway, we have Arab Muslims blowing up Israel and us, on 9/11 and many other occasions, we have Asian Muslims blowing up Bali and Manila . If Martian Muslims were to land and open fire-the media, the politicians, the politically correct, would probably refer to them as airborne immigrants,instead of yet another violent sect of Islam.

I don't think they sleeped to death some 35 terrorists. Cnn reporting now that as many as 130 killed.

For all the hoopla about 24 hour cable news coverage-most of these cable stations turn out the lights at 10pm Eastern

That's good for us though out on the left coast who are 3 hours behind those on the east coast. And it's especially great for me when I don't get in from studying till 11 or 12. I can then catch all the shows I'm used to watching in the early evening. :)

The images of terrorists killed are bit problematic for me. I dont see any head shots [default means body shots]. Body shots are lower and display less marksmanship as well as possibly muzzle discipline.

Plus....no reports of casualties [People shot during the whole event].

We'll see.

Perhaps American innovation combined with a drop of Russian ruthlessness is what's needed to win the war on terrorism.

It very well might. When the Kursk went down, I remember despising Clinton for not pre-positioning our Navy deep submersibles, which were a few days away, just in case the Russians finally broke down and asked for help. They probably would finally have asked for help had it been within reach it became clear they didn't have the hardware to do the job and their people were certain to die. That would have been a timeless gesture of friendship that would have long sealed the bond between our two countries. Particularly if some of those men might have been brought up.
