Photo is by me, article is by the Baltimore Sun staff. Dorothy Hamill, Brooks Robinson and the other athletes were great. They posed for pictures and signed autographs for everyone who wanted one.

Ehrlich told a story about Unitas where someone asked him if he were playing today, how much would he make. Unitas responded "about 3 million" whereupon the questioner said "no, you would make much more than that". And then Johnney said, "Well, you have to remember, I am 66 years old."

Art Donovan had a mini team reunion with about 6 or 7 of his teammates.

Rick Volk, Tippy Martinez, Dick Hall, Paul Blair were just a few of the other attendees.

Bob Ehrlich won a full scholarship to Princeton and was captain of the football team there. The Ivy league does not have pure athletic scholarships.

It is a fact that MD has a death penalty, and that the current governor has imposed a moratorium on executions. I wonder if anyone has raised this issue in the race for governor. I'd love to see what this female hound has to say about the death penalty NOW (like most lieberals, she's probably reflexively against it for criminals, though not for fetuses).

Maryland residents - get the word out! This one issue could tip the balance in the campaign.

Maryland gunnies: Here's your chance to help the KKT campaign stumble - find a way to get her, or a campaign spokesman, to answer the death penalty question.

Wow, this is great. I bet none of the liberal Maryland papers or the Washington Post say anything about it, though. I hope Ehrlich's campaign filmed this event for some commercials. Too bad Johnny U. died, his endorsement would have been gold for Ehrlich. I wonder if he's tried for Cal Ripken.

No doubt Peter Angelos is supporting KKT.

Also yesterday, the Maryland Classified Employees Association, which represents about 15,000 state workers, announced it is endorsing Ehrlich.

This last paragraph may be the most important thing in this article. I am speechless that a state employee's union has endorsed Ehrlich!

"Classified Employees". Hmm. No Such Agency is a big employer in Maryland, and Defense/Intelligence people tend to vote Republican anyway. . . .

Yeah, but I work in this area and I don't know of a single soul that's unionized.

True, but that doesn't imply there isn't an organization, ESPECIALLY in Maryland. Mind you, this is all supposition, assuming "classified" refers to data, and thus, to No Such Agency.

In other news, looking forward to writing in "None of the Above" for Senate, or perhaps "Oliver L. North" in Foghorn Leghorn's race. . .

"I am speechless that a state employee's union has endorsed Ehrlich!"

Not so surprising when you consider just how far to the left Ehrlich is; he's only a "conservative" by comparison to KKT.
But compared to her, FDR was a conservative!
