There were demonstrations today on Red Square against the war. Apparently, the terrorists insisted that this happen before they would release some of the hostages. So the families of the hostages are out protesting the war. Check out the other thread on this situation for more details.
Many Russian nationalists are also against the war. They say "to hell with them." The only problem is that they cannot govern on their own, which causes a lot of problems for Russia.
