This race still is winnable. I can't believe that the undecideds are in the double digits this close to the election

I doubt that many "undecideds" exist. These are probably Democrat voters too stupid to answer correctly, or people who aren't going to vote to begin with.

Posthumous will have to be polling in the lead before next week for him to have a shot at winning. He has to offset the Wayne County 'Rat machine, which is sure to provide 105% turnout in minority districts, just like in 2000. :)

The current TV spot the Republicans are running about her in regards to her stand on reparations for slavery is a very good one. If they can come up with more like that her poll numbers are likely to drop even further.

Yeah but let's face it: a guy with an unfortunate name like Dick Posthumous isn't one that gets people all excited to vote for him. And after a decade of Engler, people want a change to the other party. Its part and parcel of the cycle of politics in America.

Sorry, this one is going to the dems. Granny has been very successful in passing herself of as a moderate. Posty has been successful as passing himself off as a loser.

I don't hold out any hope that Posthumus is going to win. He has kept a very behind the scenes profile for years while Granholm is very well known. I will be happy in part if it isn't a solid blow-out, though.

This weekend the party is having a liturature drop. Please contact your local GOP county office or email me and I will find out the correct office for you. This election is so important. Posthumus can win if the message gets out.

This Granholm ' protect you family' crap is getting old. I just saw a new Marlinga campaign that is also about ' protecting families'. I was also at the Attroney General debates on Wednesday, and are you all aware that Gary Peters, the dem candidate has NEVER practiced law?! He was first running for governor, then he wanted to be Lt Gov, so 6 weeks ago he decided he wanted to be AG.

Also, Terry Lynn Land is our Secretary of State candidate. We need her. The Dem candidate 'Butch' Hollowell's big campaign pledge is that if you stand in line for longer that 30 minutes your transaction is free. The Sec of State office is NOT Domino's Pizza. If he wins and his idiotic pledge becomes law, then all go into Detroit and stand in line for over a half hour and bankrupt the office.

Just like a dem, thinking that they can give away something for nothing. They have no concept of economics.

Feel free to email or post to me about how you can help with this very important campaign.

I don't foresee a big problem with Land getting elected. Miller did an outstanding job as SOS and I think most people are going to want to keep it going in that direction, regardless of political affiliation.

The problem with Land and Cox getting elected is that we still have straight ticket ballotting.

I will post the GOP slate of statewide party offices and Wayne county judges next week.

As far as the propositions go, we are supporting the following.

Prop 1 yes
Prop 2 yes
Prop 3 no
Prop 4 no

If anyone is in Wayne County, this Monday is the County Executive Committee Meeting in Dearborn. Everyone is welcome to attend. it's at 7:30 at Beech Daily and Ford Rd at the Carnfield Community Center. It will give you good information and help fire you up for the election.

In 2000, Spence Abraham was leading by 19 in October. In 1990, John Engler(then a State Senator) was trailing INCUMBENT Jim Blanchard by 12(50-38).

If we get the good poll watchers and challengers out there, we can stop the fraud or at least slow it down.

This race is winnable.

At the very least, a guy named "Posthumus, Dick" should be able to get a spokesman job for viagra.

Go Dick Posthumus Go!

I can just imagine the pollster asking the lady of the house:

Ma'am, do you prefer Cox or Peters?
