I don't know about a S. Florida connection,but I am real curious to hear where this John M. worshipped and what the head of his temple has to say about all this.
We have a sizable Sikh temple here in my area.This is another form of worship that has alot of connections to various kinds of terrorism.They drive around town with headrags on in expensive cars.I don't know if they are dangerous,but their appearance is enough to make me nervous.

Sikh is an Indian religion. Nothing to worry about. They wrap turbans on their heads. They are NOT Moslems. Have no fear.

Sikhs are not Muslims. In fact, they are explicitly not like Muslims in their rituals, etc. Visually, though some Sikhs may wear turbans, the turbans are worn in more of a wrap around the head than on top of it. They are not known for terrorism anywhere other than in a specific part of India that they wish to have as an independent state, although there are some indications of fundraising for that effort in other parts of the world, including here in the US.

Generally, they tend to be open to the sprirtuality of all individuals regardless of caste, creed, color, race, sex, religion or nationality. They generally believe that all human life is a blessing, unlike the islamists who only value the lives of other muslims (barely.) Sikhs and muslims are fighting in parts of India/Kashmir.

Sikhs generally tend to hate muslims almost as much if not more so then most mainstream americans. I knew a sikh in college, and we talked about it once. He was full of alot of venom, didn't say specifics on why just a bunch of evil this, damn them that, wants them dead, blah blah". Granted he's right, but I don't know what there personal reasons are.
