[history]
Amid speculation that President Bush is reconsidering what will constitute "regime change in Iraq," one thing should be clear: Saddam Hussein's willingness to "change" his attitude towards permitting the resumption of intrusive on-site U.N. weapons inspections will not, in fact, eliminate the danger posed by him and his ruling clique.

Maybe ol' timmy would have opened his mouth had he lived to see 9/11. He certianly deserved to die, but I think he took what he knew to the grave.

The problem is that for the federal government to 'discover' Jayna Davis after ignoring her for years reeks of cynical manipulation. It actually makes her evidence less credible for it to be suddenly recognized exactly when it justifies what the government wants to do anyway. You have to wonder if any accusation of villany against Saddam, however crackpot, wouldn't do as well.

I always figured him for nothing more than a chump.
But since he was so quickly killed, with so much witheld, unlike say Mumia Baboon Yomamma, we will never know the whole story.

Bump for torture!

All this would result in would be ANOTHER taking of our tax dollars by ambulance-chasers as the "Government" would compensate "victims" again.............

The problem is that for the federal government to 'discover' Jayna Davis after ignoring her for years reeks of cynical manipulation. The evidence is very credible, and has been available to the public almost since the start, which means that for the government to ignore this evidence reeked of cynicism. But then, almost every major investigation undertaken by Clinton's Justice department was more cover-up than investigation. Or, more to the point, coverup by means of investigation.
The problem is that, although there is a new administration, there is going to be tremendous resistance within these institutions (FBI, Justice, etc) to admitting just how politicized they had become. And, further, most of the individuals involved in these bogus investigations are still in place. To get them to admit data that was studiously denied or ignored is going to take some heavy arm twisting from on high. But this doesn't rob the data of credibility. You or I could look at the data ourselves, its not that difficult to make a judgement, in the absense of an unrelated political agenda.
How I spot a make-believe investigation is an obsessive attention to unimportant details, while ignoring or denying or burying a larger body of evidence. Or simply refusing to ask questions that we dare not ask, like blotting out the sun with your thumb. Like bulldozing the building before the investigators have had a chance to study it. Like prosecuting your informants, who had warned you in advance. Or prosecuting journalists who release information that contradicts the official story.

This story has been quietly gaining respectability as of late.....finally. For this to be reported by FOX News is pretty big. I hope FOX's TV talkies pick it up and run with it.
