The information is vague and unverified, authorities caution.

The FBI has issued a warning to local law enforcement agencies alerting them of a terrorist threat Friday against targets in Sacramento and New York City, sources said Wednesday, although officials downplayed the probability of an attack.

"Quite frankly, there would be no more reason to tell the Jewish community than to tell the Asian American community," Mason said. "It is information without verification, period."

Don't you love those politically correct terrorism threat warnings?

Their plan: To wrap the Tower Bridge (which crosses the Sacramento River) in plastic, rendering it unuseable, and thereby snarling commute traffic in and out of downtown Sacramento....Oh. Nevermind. CalTrans has already done that.

This radical Muslim's hate Christians as much as they hate Jews, and they hate America because we're a free country. Why would the Jewish community get any special warning over, say, the Catholic Community? Should Bishop Weigand be up-in-arms about not being informed?

Anyway, I'll be on my toes, just in case. It doesn't hurt to keep our eyes and ears open.

Sacramento, I pray your experience won't be the same as recently occurred in the Washington DC area. Let's hope the DC area wasn't a "test case" - although I'm less hopeful than before....

Sacramento, I pray your experience won't be the same

"The information is so non-specific that there is nothing one can do to reasonably thwart what might or might not happen," said Michael Mason, special agent in charge of the Sacramento FBI field office. "It is information that, if it was on a scale of one to 100, I would give it a one."

Bless this mess-- if anything happens...

Hm. Can terrorists bring the city to a standstill without hurting any people? I mean, we are talking about Sacramento, California.

Kalerfornia is being ignored again. The "sky is falling" Davis needs more Federal Money and attention.

DC was more of a freelance thing. The real test case is Moscow.
