The bus driver shot on the steps of his bus sticks in my mind like foul molasses. That man has been portrayed as a family man, he was a black man working a full job, living a middle class American existence. Why would this shooter shoot that black man? The shooter has/had no prior knowledge of that bus driver and has made a widow and orphaned children from their father, with one mindless trigger pull. In a word, hate. I tend toward the belief that black Muslims hate black men who are living the family life and caring for their family within the middle class norms, without relying on 'Islam' to show them the way. Stated another way, the black Muslim population appears to hate black people who do not cower to the black Muslim authority for their protection and meaning. Hate crimes, anyone?
