When I hear one person from the Islamic religion tell me that they don't agree with the terrorism, I will buy your argument.
Not every Christian agrees with the KKK. In fact, it is despised by most christians. That is not the case with Islam and terrorism. Your comparision doesn't hold water.
We're not judging "all by one", we're judging by the official doctrines. The KKK and a good many other supposedly "Christian" abominations, are direct violations of Biblical teaching -- but in Islam, the Koran ENDORSES jihad and various oppressions.
Ya gotta look at what the FOUNDER of a religion, got out of it, in order to see its true character.
Moses fled the palace of Egypt, spent most of his life wandering the desert, and never got to the promised land even though he led a lot of others to it. Not much earthly payoff there.
Buddha was born a wealthy nobleman, and walked away from it all to become a wandering ascetic. Not much earthly payoff there.
Jesus worked as a manual laborer, then preached uncompromising sermons so inflammatory that the religious leaders conspired with the government to kill him. Not much earthly payoff there.
Mohammed.... What did Mohammed get? He got wealth, power, and a harem.
