Men Hold Moscow Audience Hostage [Reports of 1000 Hostages]

MOSCOW (AP) — Armed men entered a Moscow theater Wednesday and took the audience hostage, the Federal Security Service said.

The theater was holding a performance of the musical Nord-Ost, one of the Russian capital's most popular productions.

The Interfax news agency said one of its reporters was inside the theater at the time of the raid. She told them in a telephone call that the men had fired into the air and were preventing the audience from leaving, the agency said.

Police units were on their way to the scene.

Its frustrating. Obviously our world is not as connected as we think it is. Why is FOX or CNN not carrying a live feed from this place? If there is a possibility of 500-1000 Russians being killed by terrorists today in light of Russia possibly vetoing the Iraq resolution. This should push Cavuto off the air.

Yes, the Chechens operate many of the stores and fruit stands throughout Moscow, many of them are quite entrepreneurial and would have nothing to do with this garbage. Unfortunately, they will all suffer if this ends tragically, whether they support the Islamofascists or not.
