Moose: Can't Communicate Electronically with you
Fox News ^ | 10/22/00 | Fox News

Posted on 10/22/2002 4:18:38 PM PDT by Koblenz

Mr. Moose just held another news conference. Said the Police Department couldn't communicate electronically with the sniper in the manner he requested. What a mess.

The police said call back to get an 800 number or a PO Box.

All I can say is thank GOD this is not happening in our neck of the woods. In this area we have a Police Chief by the name of Arther Jones. Has made a mess of the city of Milwaukee. If this was on the table in front of him I can not even begin to think of the mess he would make out of it.

IMHO, Moose is doing as good a job as most would in his situation.

"Probably because he's an incompetent boob, who was canned from his last job, and was hand-picked by the Clintn Administration for this job in order to shut the NAACP up...

I hope this helps!"

LOL That was very pithy, but you forgot to mention how adept he is a using the word "racist". When he was in Portland, the "r" word seemed to fly out of his mouth with every other word. ;o)

Thanks Chad, I knew you were ok. Hey, I have nothing good to say about Democrats either!
Listen, even if the guy IS in "over his head"...what should he do, quit and go home in the middle of it all? It is up to someone else "above him" to tell him they'd take it from this point forward, He is not making these decisions on his own...if someone else was needed at the mike, someone else would put them there. Evidentally, warts and all, the "sniper" is responding to Chief M., tragically though still murdering along the way. Maybe "they"'re just afraid to change it.
We're all upset, we're all frustrated, we'd all like a piece of the beast that is evil personified, killing and threatening anything that resembles goodness. I just don't want to attack imagined lesser Americans stuck in the middle of it, even if they are Demorats. Some things are bigger than all of us...aren't they?

No, they will come up with all sorts of "impediments" to this transfer to try to move the ball down the field.

Thanks for the ping!

Does anyone know why they have not released the victims name from the Ponderosa?

Do I think Bush, Cheney, and Rummy would release dangerous Al Qaeda prisoners because the sniper promised he would stop shooting if they did?

Are you out of your EFFING mind? Please tell me you are kidding.

How about hiding it in a pumpkin at the old Hiss farm on the Eastern Shore.

I believe the pumpkin farm in question was in Caroll County, Maryland wasn't it?

I don't know how a wire transfer couldn't be traced. Banks don't routinely wire money to unknown destinations.

Granted, it would require cooperation from foreign authorities if a transfer were to an overseas bank, and then most likely to several more destinations in an attempt to launder it, but I don't see how you ever get it into your hands without an FBI agent there to immediately tackle you. Even if it's in Iraq.

They will never give this guy a dime. There hoping to get clues from the continued exchange and possibly get this man to deviate from his plan and do something stupid.

ROT-13 is an encryption method developed by Caesar. Rotate every letter 13 letters to the right. A becomes M, B becomes N etc.

I think keeping Chief Moose front and center, precisely BECAUSE he comes across as weak and ineffective, may be part of the strategy the people really in charge want to employ. The sniper is much more likely to be lulled into believing that he can successfully get a bundle of money wired to him without getting caught, if he feels as if he's dealing primarily with Chief Moose. Sure, he probably knows that the feds are really in charge, but he can't see or hear them, and can't sense whether somebody unbeatable is really in charge.

The money should be hidden and one clue to its location given each hour that the sniper does not kill somebody. All clues should be written in that rarest of languages, Moosese.

the money is another red herring. Odds are they ran planes into the WTC and the same types are doing this.

it may look like you have the money, but do you really think he's going to go and pick it up himself. It would be real easy to find out if the money is really there by having someone try to cash out.
