Senate Nominee Returns Despite Democrats' Gay Smear

Montana Republican Mike Taylor today renewed his troubled campaign for the U.S. Senate.

After dropping out because of a smarmy Democrat commercial that implied he was a homosexual hairdresser in the 1970s, Taylor announced he would again try to unseat incumbent Democrat Max Baucus on Nov. 5.

"What would my forefathers do - those salt-of-the-earth people who settled the West? Would they just walk away? No way," Taylor said.

"After conferring with my wife, my children, my family, the decision was made that I must come back - not just because I want to be a senator, but because I want to make a statement about decency."

He said he wanted to save the republic from smear campaigns. "I realize that our effort is David vs. Goliath - the people vs. the muckrakers. They [the Democrats] may have 10 times more money than we do, but Montanans have 10 times more integrity than them."

Wouldn't it really be a Chuck-Noris-roundhouse-kick-in-the-teeth to the liberals if the people of Montana actually gave Taylor the nod?
He should campaign on the responsible forestry thing that the Dems and their extreme environmentalists buddies caused so much fire damage...or something like that...
Perhaps he could tell them that he would help Congress get the bills passed that would help Montanans instead of his opponent and his liberal buddies gridlocking the whole works from "helping the people"...that might work...
"For the people" or "for the children" works every time

P.S. RNC should give Taylor some money! All the Repub's money doesn't have to go to South Dakota...

Common MONTANA Republicans ~ it's not too late to jump on board the ship and give this guy your backing (perhaps we could get the third party candidate to bow out and throw his support to Taylor at the last minute? - oh, I guess I was thinking of what happened in South Dakota!)
