I was thinking the same thing. However in an earlier thread today a guy on here says his sister is CSI on the Task Force and says unequivocably it is NOT a Muslim Terrorist. Take it for what it is worth. Hard to tell from that if that is fact based or a result of "inside the box" thinking.

In my mind too may things point to a Muslim terrorist. If it was not, it would be an upset. (Times we live in, area where this is happening, no Muslims shot, Sniper training by Al-Qaeda, the "Bin Laden" pronouncement two weeks ago, no specific genre of victims like "classic" serial killers).

About the only theory I have not heard on here is that it is Eric Rudolph. That theory probably is running wild on DU.

I'm no expert on Eric Rudolph, but I doubt a guy that bombs abortion clinics would also kill kids. That's a big disconnect.

If they don't know what he looks like, how do they really know? Not only that, what if the caller is some prankster of some sort or the fall guy for the sniper?

No, DU thinks it's a crazed plan by Bush and Ashcroft to steal the election. With all the news crews focused on the 'Serial Sniper', they don't have time to air the dems' hate ads and lies about the economy. It's scary, they actually believe the sniper works for the government. Well, no one ever said they were the sharpest tools in the shed ;)

No longer do I think this is AQ or Hamas or any other of those groups. I'm thinking now that the French sniper was hired by Saddam to stop the war by threatening us this way. That's why the fed govt got involved in this.

There have been 2 articles in the past day about war plans being on ice, the President now thinking that we'll go with the UN deadlines of 135 days. And the irony of using a French citizen must be making Saddam laugh out loud.

Anyway, that's my theory and I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, and my sister is a friend of someone who knew someone who taked to someone who read about someone who had a cousin who ....). Let her post it in her own name, with her title. Also, if they Knew "unequivocably" that it is not a Muslim terrorist, they would tell us just to stop the speculation. There's no way they can rule it out

Did our government suppress the surface to air missile that downed the TWA flight in long Island? Did our government suppress the Iraqi connection in blowing up the government building in Oklahoma City? Did we cave in under the fanatic Moslem Egyptian pressure that forced us to deny that an Islamic terrorist blow up the Egypt Air flight in New England?

Till when are we prepared to shelter our public from confronting heads-on the fact that ISLAM, at least the way it is preached today IS the enemy. Islam MUST reform, or else it should be considered a death cult that is prohibited in the West.
