Well, this, combined with a Freeper (MJY1288) on this thread saying his sister works on the Montgomery Co. task force, and that he is convinced it is NOT Muslim terrorists...that makes me think again about the missing French sniper. He's foreign, he's missing, he knows how to shoot at a distance, and is presumably not Muslim.

I'd not cross Muslims out on the word of an anonymous poster who claims secret inside info. Particularly since the police have given no indications through their actions that they have the slightest idea who the sniper is or is not.

The missing French sniper is Yugoslavian. IMHO, he probably saw action in Sarajevo were women, children, and civilians were shot numerous times by Bosnian Muslims and Serbs.

I think this is the work of a team of local Arabs, some of whom are very familiar with the locations of retail sites and of streets (and alleys) and traffic patterns.

These points he makes would seem to rule out a foreigner who would be unfamiliar with the environment.
