The shroud isn't proof of much of anything. Christ was here and died for our sins. The shroud for all we know is just another in a long line of pious frauds. Until it is proven otherwise, there is no sound basis to consider it to be other than a fluke or a fraud. My faith don't depend on it. I have a relationship with the creator. Why is the possibility that the Shroud might be authentic so threatening to you? No one is basing his faith on that, but you seem to be biased against its genuineness big time!
