I haven't read your link yet, but I wanted to throw in that I've had numerous Arabs (Egyptian, Yemeni, Saudi) tell me what a load of crap that 'philistine' argument is. They are not descendants of the philistines and all the other arabs know it. Palestinians are a collection of various mixed-group peoples that were gathered up from all over and stuck there to get them out of the other countries. And this was done by the arabs, so they ought to know. They usually keep quiet about because they hate jews and will do anything to hurt them. They tolerate the palestinians, but they hate them too, really.

I'm still waiting. The old "there is no such thing as Palestine" argument is moronic and inaccurate. The entire region was Palestine, called so by the British, the Ottoman (whom the British conquered in order to take posession of Palestine) and most anyone with a decent knowledge of world geogrophy. The fact that there was never any nation called Palestine is irrelevant. Jews in the region were Palestinian due to their geographic location.
