I may not put all my commas in the right places and most likely use way too many run-on sentences but no one else in the world has my kids best interest at heart like their dad and I do. Sometimes we have to learn right along with them just as I am about to have to brush up on my algebra before next year.
I would have to say "in general" my attitude towards government schools is probably the same as other homeschoolers, after all, that is one reason for teaching the kids at home. But...that being said, I can't say that same attitude applies to "all" the paid teachers I know. Many are truly trying to teach and I do believe some cities are worse than others. We all know that educational standards aren't what they were when we were in school
So I hope you two can 'kiss and make up', after all this is cyberspace and you don't really know each other do you?
Now back to the topic at hand....
Gee, I didn't even know there was a fight going on.
As for the other folks on this thread; well, I shouldn't have allowed myself to be baited into this off-topic discussion in the first place. This subject is too serious. But I was hoping that I might enlighten a few folks that their knee-jerk stereotypes might not be as valid as they would like to believe. It's called a "teachable-moment" in the business. Oh, well.
Back to the business at hand...
That's a gross thought. You know the stuff they teach in the public school. I would have no idea where that mouth has been.
What bothers me about this person is his/her God complex. He/she is sucking off the public teet for crying out loud!
