I'm sorry, Chief Moose. You need to explain this again. The sniper left you a note with a number, and you want him to call you at that number? How does that work?

Chief Moose once bit my sister...
He didn't do a very good job though.

Maybe he gave Chief Moose the location of a phone booth to be at by a certain time, and if not, another person dies...

perhaps whoever left the note gave the number of a pay phone OR asked the cops to set up a phone line with that number. This was Moose's way of telling this person that they are ready to talk at that number.

I think that the number was for the Mars Pathfinder that Shiela Jackson Lee said was on the moon.
Or it might have been to the dead brain sucking alien that is still perched on her head.

"How does that work?"
Simple, you must know "ebophonics"....

It's not supposed to make sense to us. The person who left the message will understand it. This is a good thing -- maybe a real break in the case.

The logic of Moose's comments to the "sniper" is conclusive proof of why it is important to have a master's degree in urban studies to be a police chief. Geez.....

The sniper left you a note with a number, and you want him to call you at that number? How does that work?POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
The sniper leaves a note and says, "Set up a special line for you and me...at this number: 555-6666. I will call and tell you who I am..."

"The sniper left you a note with a number, and you want him to call you at that number? How does that work?" . . .
surely by the next press conference; Chief Moose will have a ready answer for this one!
Wondering if they have considered that maybe this guy just enjoys 'pulling chains' by way of his messages. . .
